    I have some ancient Rosetta Stone CD-ROMS. The application requires Quicktime I think tries to download when I put application cd in and there is a quicktime icon on the cd. I hear from Rosetta that the CD may only work with Windows98 or WindowsXP. I have Windows 10 I think. Is there a quicktime replacement that will let me run the CDs on my Windows 10 computer? I see that some applications allow a compatibility setting adjustment to WindowsXP. Thanks. Please, if you answer, answer like you were answering your Mom. Not a sophisticated computer user here. I really want to keep using the old CD-ROMS.


    In case it helps... There is a Rosetta application CD that puts the program on my computer and a language CD that must be run. I can install the program using an external cd dvd drive, but the language CD brings up a window that lets me tell it to run, then it doesnt do anything. The quicktime application that loaded when the cd application loaded, when I click on it later to see if I can do anything to get the Rosetta application to run, it says "loading" but never gets past "loading".


    I dont want to upgrade my Rosetta. I want to keep the vintage. I am vintage.
