Windows 10: Quiet Mic

My mic is working, just when I record myself, I can barely hear. I've tried everything I can but its not working. can someone please help find another solution?

USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

 

My mic is too quiet in certain apps

So my mic (Realtek) seems to have issues with volume, it seems to be only quiet in certain apps like games (SCPSL is one of the games) System itself (it claims theres barely any noise coming out of my mic) and internet browsers, yet in discord my mic seems to be at a good volume.

i tried multiple things:

Update the driver (It says i got the best verison and i have no idea on how to update it myself)

Put the mic volume at highest it could be in both control panel and settings

Troubleshoot found no problems

reinstalled the driver

made sure its my default mic and that it is enabled

i disallowed applications to change it

yet none of these work, another thing it did fix itself when i woke up like a few weeks ago but yesterday it came back, i tried all these steps above and it seems to still be quiet, im not fully sure why it has been annoying me.
