Windows 10: "App & browser control" is Off warning

Yesterday I upgraded to v2004 on both my desktop PC and my DELL laptop. In both cases things seemed to go well but I now see a "Windows Security" warning that was not there in the previous version v1909. See picture: -




If it was important I reckon Microsoft should have turned it on by default but maybe this is a Windows 10 bug? I suppose if I do not turn it on then MS warning will remain in place until I turn it on but will it cause problems if I do? I suppose it will be easy to turn it off again. Has anyone else had this with v2004?

I should add that on both devices I have Norton Security installed and is showing as 'On' including firewall.

In Windows Defender Security Centre home page, my App + browser control box is ticked green with no action required, but when I go into it, the 'check apps and files' options are all greyed out, and there
is a red message saying 'This setting is managed by your administrator'.

Anyone have any ideas how I can reclaim control of this, and hit the Warn button.

The SmartScreen for Microsoft Edge is not greyed out, and I have the Warn button on.

2. What is the build version on the computer? Press Windows key + R, type winver and press enter to know the information.
