Windows 10: qwer uiop keys not working

Hi I'm having an issue with my qwer uiop keys not working in my Lenovo IdeaPad flex 5. it's only those 8 keys that don't work. I don't believe it's a hardware issue because when I repeatedly press them a bunch they will start working. Even if one of them starts to work the other 7 will to but if one stop so those all of them. I've uninstalled and reinstalled my keyboard from device manager, done troubleshooting and everything but this issue doesn't get fixed. So I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue before and how they have solved it.Message #general

When im press "qwer" and "uiop" button key on my laptop keyboard,the "delete"key button also pressed continuously,this is annoying,help me pls

I executed the commands you listed, the output is below.

Now when I try to login I can type any key but the QWER UIOP keys.

If I type one of the keyboard becomes unresponsive.

I removed my AntiVirus (AVG) and Malware software (MalwareBytes), rebooted

same results.

Prior to the steps you suggested any key would work at the login prompt.

Again, If I log out any key works except QWER UIOP keys.

Clearly this is not a hardware issue, it is a software bug, malware or Virus.

I am Vijay, an Independent Advisor. I am here to work with you on this problem.

Let's first rule out whether the keyboard hardware is an issue or not. Can you use Keyboard tester and press keys to see if the keys are working correctly or not? If keys work as intended, then problem is not the hardware of Keyboard.

Laptop Keyboard Tester

If no hardware issue - Please try these options one by one and check after each option.

1. Till your problem is resolved and you need to do urgent and limited typing, use Onscreen Keyboard - Type OSK in Windows Start Search Box (Cortana) > Click On-Screen Keyboard

2. Run Keyboard Troubleshooter

Type Troubleshoot in Windows Start Search box > Click Troubleshoot > Scroll down and click Keyboard > Run the troubleshooter > Follow onscreen directions

3. Uninstall & reinstall Keyboard Driver

Windows Key+X (Or right click on Start) > Click Device Manager > Expand Keyboards > Right click on Standard PS/2 Keyboard > Uninstall > Reboot the computer to reinstall

4: Turn off filter keys in Ease of Access

Type ease in Windows Start Search box > Click Ease of Access > Click Make the Keyboard easier to use > Ensure Turn on filter Keys is not checked
