Hi and thanks for reaching out. My name is William. I'm a Windows technical expert. I'll be happy to help you out today.

Radar_Pre_Leak is technical nomenclature that means the OS has detected (Radar) a process that is not handling it routines in a manner that it thinks is efficient (Pre) and as a result it may begin to exhaust memory resources (Leak), i.e. it is a resource hog.
It is entirely informational event, though, and does not mean it is necessarily running outside its bounds or has exhausted the limits of Windows memory management.

Technically, Steam is just a portal to launch the game itself, and it should not be doing any management of the internal functions of the game. This means whatever issues the game is having needs to be addressed by the game developers. Now, if steam is consuming
excessive resources in the background, then you have a classic case of resource contention that would spill over into the game as performance related issues during game play and, on a long enough time-line, this could accumulate to overall system instability.

I dont use steam (i wish I had the time to play games), but I would venture to guess that there are likely some settings in Steam that you can disable or toggle to manual so it minimizes what is does in the background, e.g. no auto updating.

Also, for gaming systems, I recommend disabling Windows automatic updates. These come at the most inopportune times. It does not mean you will not be able to update, it just means you can control when to update.

To do this, create a new text file on your desktop. Rename it to append the .txt to .reg. Then paste the following inside of the file:

Afterwards, double click to import the changes into the Windows registry and restart.

In the zip file there was no minidump file.
The event log did not display a crash.

Are you able to post any minidump files?

Can you install whocrashed and bluescreenview to see if they can find the bsod minidump files on your computer.

    There are problems with:
    WindowsWcpOtherFailure
    RADAR_PRE_LEAK
    PnPDriverImportError
    WinSetupDiag

Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

    1) winver (in the pop up about windows > view your windows version and build > type this information into the thread)

    2) sfc /scannow

    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

    4) chkdsk /scan

When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on copy > paste into the thread
