  1. RadarScope app “Get Location” bullseye is suddenly about 10 miles off

I’ve been using the RadarScope Pro Tier One app for Windows and iOS for several years and love it. Problem: About a month ago, the Windows version “Get Location” bullseye is suddenly about 10 miles south of where it should be. How do I fix it? I have confirmed that Windows correctly geolocates my location, so why is RadarScope so far off? Any suggestions? Thanks.

    :)

Cant get Radarscope app to open.

    Dear Calcoufal,

I'm glad to see you in Microsoft Community.

May I ask "reload password" do you mean the Radarscope application password or all passwords in the system?

May I ask what version is your system?(press Win + R at the same time -> enter "winver" )

Because there are many reasons for this problem, and the situation is more complicated, follow the steps I provide you to see if the problem persists.

    1. Microsoft Store cache cleaning

    • Right-click the start icon, select "Windows Terminal (Admin)" -> enter: wsreset.exe
    2. Reset Microsoft Store

    • Open "Settings" -> Apps -> Apps and Features -> find "Microsoft Stroe", check -> "Advanced Options", reset
    3. Check System Updates

You can check for system updates by following the instructions below, as most issues can be resolved by updating.

    • On the desktop, click Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates.
    4. Repair Radarscope app

    • Open "Settings" -> Apps -> Apps and Features -> find "Radarscope", select -> "Advanced Options", fix

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

  3. Windows 10 Location Suddenly Wrong

    Hi,

Before posting here, I tried the following, so please, no Tier-1 tech support canned answers.

    Steps taken:

    • - Went through all privacy settings and enabled location permissions for all apps.
    • - Flushed DNS, reboot computer.
    • - Cleared location history, reboot computer.
    • - Ensured my date-time and regional settings reflected my country and timezone (they do).
    • - Ensured my language is installed correctly (it is)
    • - Fully uninstalled the Maps app. Reboot computer.
    • - Reinstalled the Maps app.
    • - Set my default location. Reboot again.
    • - Ensured system was completely updated.

Still, Windows shows me as around 500 miles away.

Google Chrome, on the same PC, correctly identifies my position even after its cache being cleared.

New in Maps – save a location to use in Maps on your PC

Sorry, I don't get the banner and I don't get the same information when I click on locate me.

I get a bullseye on the map that says "My location within 7.1 miles" and that's it.
