Raid 0 only showing 1 drive, other is showing as unallocated

I Just recently reimaged my precision 7530 laptop with Raid 0 using 2 512GB drives, it was just getting very laggy, but was working ok, and the Raid 0 was also working just fine as well. After several failed attempts to get the install to even see both drives, windows installed and is working. After installing the Intel rapid storage and setting to Raid 0 it went through and successfully verified with the Intel rapid storage application showing 954GB total. However in windows explorer for drive C: it is only showing the total space for 1 drive, and is disk manager it shows the second drive as unallocated. With my previous install everything was jiving just fine, drive C: also was showing 954GB total as well as disk manager and the rapid storage app. What am I missing, or what did I do wrong? Thank you to anyone taking the time to help or offer advice. Yes, Raid is set to be used in the BIOS as well.

  2. Disc management shows unallocated drive but will not create simple volume

I am using an external Sans Digital raid drive. It has 2 3 GB hard drives set up in raid 0. It is a hardware raid controlled by a switch on the back of the external drive. The raid array is created by the hardware inside the Sans Digital TR4UTBPN.
When I go into disc management it shows the raid array online as Unallocated. I right-click to make a simple volume and nothing happens. Any ideas?

    Raid 0 help

Hi all, I've followed the IRST raid installation directions and I have created myself a Raid 0 volume. Rapid storage confirms my successful migration from a system disc to a raid 0 array. I'm also able to select it as my boot device in BIOS, but what I don't understand is why it is not listed in my Drives under my computer

In fact, my computer still lists my original C: drive with the original capacity. I feel as if I've miss an important step here and I'm unsure how to proceed.

Raid 0 only showing 1 drive, other is showing as unallocated

Twin drives configured as Raid 1 shows as separate drivers after Windows update

    Hi

Windows 10 PC with twin hard drives set up in Raid 1 format (ie any saved files save to both drives). Separate SSD for C Drive which holds any programmes.

My Raid Drives are both drive D and show as two separate folders named "Raid 1 (DRaid 0 only showing 1 drive, other is showing as unallocated :)" in the file explorer.

When I save a file, it saves to both drives.

Since the latest Windows update, one of my Raid drives has changed from D drive to L drive (shows as "Raid 1 (LRaid 0 only showing 1 drive, other is showing as unallocated :)" in file explorer).

When I save a file now, it only saves to the D drive.

Is there a guide anywhere which helps me to understand how to rectify this please?

I guess it is about mapping ??????

    Many thanks.

***Modified title from: Twin Drives Set up as Raid 1 format now show as Two separate drives following latest W10 Update. Help please Raid 0 only showing 1 drive, other is showing as unallocated :)***
