Windows 10: RAID

I’m new to VMware and need some help. I am running VMware Ent V17 I think. I have a VM image Windows 11 Pro 22H2 x64 which was built in AHCI mode and is fine. Every machine with AHCI mode works fine with that image. Only when we try to use that image with a RAID based mode system, it gives an inaccessible_boot_device BSOD message. Symantec/Broadcom/Intel/VMware say once the Intel RST drivers are installed on that VM image can be installed while running in AHCI mode the drivers for RAID will automatically be picked up by windows on first boot when windows see a RAID mode. But say only Micro

remove royal raid

As per the description, I understand that you are experiencing issue with you are not able to uninstall “Royal Raid” app on the system.

I certainly understand your concern and will try my best to help you.

I would suggest you to follow the steps given below and check if that helps.

• Click on the “Start” menu.
• Type “appwiz.cpl” into the search field and press “Enter”. The “Uninstall or change programs” window will open.
• Click on “royal raid” in the list of programs.
• Click on “Uninstall”.
• Select “Yes” when asked to confirm that you want to uninstall royal raid from your computer.

Note: Your computer will then begin uninstalling the app and may take up to several minutes.

Raid 0 help

Hi all, I've followed the IRST raid installation directions and I have created myself a Raid 0 volume. Rapid storage confirms my successful migration from a system disc to a raid 0 array. I'm also able to select it as my boot device in BIOS, but what I don't understand is why it is not listed in my Drives under my computer

In fact, my computer still lists my original C: drive with the original capacity. I feel as if I've miss an important step here and I'm unsure how to proceed.

 

Is it possible to easily setup Raid-1 on this system ?

Get the six core CPU's I listed, at 3.3Ghz per core they will more than handle any calculations you throw at them for years to come, and with matching RAM in tri channel you will have a very strong setup.


My only other suggestion is a full RAID card like the one I listed with SSD's (in RAID 1)for the OS and programs, and then a RAID 5 array for backup and any large files on the board with a offsite final backup
