Windows 10: RAM Disk on Windows 11

Discus and support RAM Disk on Windows 11 in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Hi, I was wondering how to create a ram disk on Windows 11.I've found this article for W7 and 10 and it apparently even got updated...     Hi, I was wondering how to create a ram disk on Windows 11.I've found this article for W7 and 10 and it apparently even got updated recently:https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/create-a-ram-disk-drive-in-windows-7-and-windows/cd42aac4-8b0e-4b61-a2ea-9560a3e17d5bI was wondering why this couldn't work on W11 and yep, after trying it out it worked just fine... or so I thought.I changed the TEMP and TMP environment variables as well as some application specific temp / cache paths to that ram disk and everything seemed fine for normal use and lighter applications.The problem start

    Is RAM Disk worth it?

    like everyone suggested, Ram DIsk really didnt make a difference on my personal rig. There was a tutorial while back t hat said firefox/ browsing could be sped up putting temp files on ram disk but loading new pages was slower, restart comp was a little slower, oveall not really worth it. For now

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin RAM Disk on Windows 11 :D
