Windows 10: RAM "in use" far exceeds Working Set

Windows 10 Home22H219045.3996AMD Athlontm II X4 630 Processor 2.80 GHzWhen I start my computer, I have about 2 GB of my 16 GB of RAM shown as "in use." The thing taking up the most Working Set is exporer.exe using 145 MB. After the computer has been running for a few days, the Working Set is about the same size, but the "in use" RAM is between 8 and 10 GB.It's still exporer.exe taking up the most RAM, and it's only 146 MB. Nothing else is over 100 MB. So why is "in use" showing 9811 MB?Is there a program that's not releasing memory when it exits every time? If that could be the culprit, is

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...
