Windows 10: Ram problems but fine on other pc!

Hi! I built my pc around 2 months ago and it started with bsod. Reassembled , reinstalled windows, updated and reinstalled drivers, tested gpu and hdd, replaced motherboard and..Bsod happens always when starting a game, during sfc scan and dism and sometimes random in chrome and even desktop.Codes usually are Memory managment, attemped to write on readonly, page fault in nonpaged area, system service exceptionNo error in memtest, windows memory diagnostics, stress testing with aida64i guessed that all bsods related to memory corruption i placed my ram into my friend's pc and started playing ga

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

To RAM or not to RAM...

Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin

• What is the full specifications of your computer?
• Which type of RAM are you trying to install?
• Have you checked if the total RAM is detected in the BIOS?
• Have you tried installing just the 8 Gb RAM and see if the system detects it?
  

We suggest that you contact the computer manufacturer for information on how to enter the BIOS and how to set the default settings. Also, you can ask them if there is an available update for the BIOS.
