    RAM swap


    Hi i was wondering if you can help me. I recently took my PC for windows update and virus scan. I suspect they swapped my RAM because it has been slow ever since I got it. My Laptop is Lenovo L470 with intel core i5. I know my laptop was 8GB ram before I took it for a repair, now it’s 4GB. How do I prove that the RAM was installed during that process? Is there a way I can check that it has data logged from 2017 purchase date or 02/09/2024 the day I took it in

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin RAM swap :D
