    Hi, I had trouble on determining whether my laptop supports DDR4 RAMs or not. Windows Task Manager didn't show my memory type DDR4, DDR3 etc. and I was wanting to replace RAM, so I ended up purchasing a new RAM that is said to be compatible with my laptop model NP350XBE. Is the RAM I purchased compatible with my laptop? Basically I tried to replace RAM, but laptop doesn't start lucky my laptop didn't break, still works. I didn't try combining them yet to see if it works I'll if I'm sure it won't be dangerous. It's basically a DDR4 RAM, SODIMM my laptop does support SODIMM etc.I've pu

    Windows shows 8GB RAM installed but 4GB RAM is usable

    Hi There,

    I've just upgraded my pc from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. Windows seems to have detected this upgrade but why does it show as only 4GB RAM available. The following is what I have tried so far with no luck:

    • I have tried the msconfig method on ensuring maximum memory is not checked.
    • physically removed the new RAM and reinstalled it
    Any thoughts/suggestions on how i can resolve this matter?

    Defender updates no longer shown

    Sorry but I just want to see Defender updates listed in my update history. Updates for office 2010 etc are shown so why not Windows Defender?

    Typing language problem

    Why is Use language list only showing UK, and not US as another option in view of the steps I have taken to install it and put it at the top of my list? What is the' language bar', referred to? I don't think I have ever seen it, or am not recognising it if I had. And why is Keyboard shown as English UK when Settings is opened?
