    I have an older computer (Alienware 17r3) it has 8 gigs of ram which is pretty decent still and the rest of the hardware seems to work "okay" with modern games or whatever too. However, recently i've noticed that I will do literally anything and my ram freaks out. What I mean by that is im watching youtube and it uses 90% of my ram. or like right now i have this google tab open, discord, and steam and its using 50% of my memory. Anyone have any suggestions that doesn't require a factory wipe?



    System specs:

    Intel i7 6700hq

    evga geforce gtx 1070 ti (sc edition)

    8 gigs ram

    256 gig ssd 1 terabyte hdd

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin Ram :D
