    MSRT detects infected files during scan but shows Zero infected files after scan

    Hello, I am running Windows 10 and when I run MSRT it detects 60 infected files but after the scan, reports 0. The log in the Windows folder also detests not infections found. Is this a bug in MSRT or something? Why would I ever trust MSRT if it can't
    even tell me if I have an infected file or not?

    microsoft msrt

    ran msrt during scan indicated 30 infected files after scan reported no infected files. ran msrt again same. just wondering what's going on?

    MSRT in Windows 10 - Disposition of Infected Files

    Good evening. If MSRT shows infected files during a complete scan [hours long!], how do I get rid of them afterwards? The interface for MSRT is so scarce; where are instructions for same? It said I had over 500 infected files, which is scary. Unfortunately,
    it ran so long that I fell asleep. When I tried to get the PC out of 'sleep' mode, it rebooted instead. So now, where can I find the log of these files it considered infected, then remove them?

    BTW - I'm running Win 10 Home, w/McAfee Suite subscription for the last few years. 8 GB RAM, 1T HD, Dell Inspiron.
