    After running PC Health Check app to learn of Windows 11 captiblity, Windows 10 now randomly sleeps/locks. How do I fix this?

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Computer Randomly locks up

    Ok, so my dads pc (its in sp) completely randomly locks up.

    Im not sure what the deal is.

    it was working fine, i swapped boards and it game me a memory error but no big deal, fixed that. now, it locks up a few times a day, whether it is in the bios, or post screen, windows, trying to format windows ect.

    Im not sure what to do! if its the board i'll rma it and give him "back" the P45 but if its ram or hdd idk...

    what do you suggest?

    Windows 10 - PC locks up on Sleep/Shutdown

    Let's try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve your issue:

    Step 1: I suggest you to running troubleshooter for
    Power. Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows + X key. 
    • Select Control panel.
    • In the search box, type Troubleshooter
      and then click Troubleshooting.
    • Click on Power and click on next.
    • Follow the onscreen instruction.
    Step 2: I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps:

    • Click on Windows button and then go to
      Settings.
    • Click on Power and sleep Option.
    • Select Additional power settings.
    • From the left corner select Choose what the power button does.
    • Under power button settings when I press the power button select
      Shut Down.
    Step 3: I request you to follow these steps to make sure Network Adapter is not interfering with computer:

    • Press Windows Key and
      X Key, select Device Manager.
    • Expand the Network Adapter, right click and select
      Properties.
    • Under the power management check the box which says “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”.
    • Press Ok.
    Step 4: Create a new power plan and check. The Power troubleshooter checks things like your computer's timeout settings, which determine how long the computer waits before turning off the monitor display or entering sleep mode. Adjusting
    these settings can help you conserve power and extend your computer's battery life.
