Windows 10: Ran updates today Windows 11 23H2. When completed I had 22H2. Why?

As in the question I did a number of updates today. When I finished I noted that 23H2 had become 22H2. There was an update that would not install as well. What are my options to returning to 23H2?

Windows update show 23H2 installed winver show 22H2

Hi. Im baffled. I went back to a full os disk backup (its a full one the whole disk not just a regular backup) and when i write winver i get this (check images) and windows update tells me something else, i know i was on 23H2 but now when going back to this backup even though it backed up when i was on 23H2 it says 22H2, its obvious also when you look at the timestamp when updates where made, i have 22h2 current date updates and 23h2 update that is in the past, so i should be on 23h2 not 22h2 makes no sense.

 

A problem with the Windows 11 23H2 update.

Hi, I just had a couple of doubts...

1. With the steps given which W11 update will it give? Is it going to give the 22H2 or 23H2?
2. Currently for some reason I'm not able to get any updates for W11. Are they giving W11 22H2 or 23H2? Cause with 22H2 I had no issues. 23H2 had issues when upgrading from windows 10.

 

Still continue to get windows 11 updates for 22H2 and not 23H2

Still continue to get windows 11 updates for 22H2- last one being KB5034204 on 24-01-2024.

There are no signs of 23H2.

I am on HP 14s inch Laptop PC 14s-e1000 (390A0AV) running windows 11 home purchased in May 2022.

Does it means I'll not get 23H2 update.
