    Random Beeps while in sleep mode


    Dell InspirionWindows 11When my PC goes into sleep mode it begins to sound alerts at varying intervals. Sounds like hardware remove and add sounds.I have tried all the fixes I could find on the internet to no avail. My only work around is to mute my PC before I know I won't be using it for a while.I was wondering if there is a windows log file that would list events happening while in sleep mode so I might identify the problem.Thanks for any help.

    In line with this, can you follow these steps on how to turn off the system beep sounds in Windows 10 and observe if the issue persists? Here are the steps:

    • Right-click the Start icon, then select Control Panel.
    • Choose the Large icons option from the View by drop down list found on the upper-right part of the Control Panel window.
    • Locate and choose Sound.
    • Go to the Sounds tab when the Sound wizard pops out.
    • Locate and click Default Beep.
    • Choose None from the Sounds drop-down list.
    • Click Apply, then OK.

    Let us know if the issue persists after following the steps above.

    We understand that you wanted to disable the beeping sound your Nettop produces when going into Sleep mode.

    Please provide further details for us to be able to learn more about the issue you're experiencing:

    • What is the make and model of your PC?
    • Is your Windows 10 updated?
    • Are your drivers up-to-date? If not yet, you can follow the steps found on this
      link on how to update your drivers in Windows 10.
    • Is your Windows 10 pre-installed? If not, what is the Windows OS before it was upgraded to Windows 10?
    • Do you have administrator rights on your PC?
