Windows 10: Random black screen while using apps

This problem arose since I began getting Windows Insider preview builds in the Dev channel. So I was normally using Chrome, until it became unresponsive for a few seconds. After that, a black screen replaced the Chrome window, and after a second it all came back to normal. It started appearing randomly while only using Chrome, and it started getting annoying and even cause Green Screens of Death. After a few weeks, I decided to leave the Insider program and reinstall a stable build of Windows. Still getting the same issue, not only in Chrome, but also in Edge and any other kind of browser. Re-installed Catalyst 8.35 drivers (from the original cd) - no luck. Still getting the random black screen.

Method 1: I suggest you to update the Display drivers and check if that helps. If that issue persist please uninstall and reinstall latest drivers available in manufacturer website.

• Press “Windows + X” and select Device manger.
• Select Display Adapter and expand the driver icon.
• Right click on the driver icon and click on Update.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to update the driver.
