  1. random blue screens

    Hi,

My PC randomly blue screens, i suspect its hardware related but cant tell for sure
It seems to be happening more often whenever the GPU has to do stufff, i watch videos or play games and it happens, not directly but at random intervals.
Any insight on what might be causing it is appreciated!

I've added the dm_log_collector.exe log as attachment,

    Much appreciated!!

    :)

  2. Random Blue Screens

Ran Prime95 for 1.5 hours before 1st crash. That is mini dump 010418-4546. 2nd mini dump (010418-4015) is result of stopping Prime95 (file > stop) (crashed immediately with stop code "DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL").

    Mini Dumps.zip

    Thanks,

    Tim

Sorry for delay - i left town on the 28th and just got back. Before i left i ran the intel diag in a loop of 19 without error or issue. I did not get a chance to run Prime 95 for any length of time but i will do that thursday or friday and post results.

    Thanks again for help.

As u can see the bsod dumps show hardware errors with "memory_corruption". Disk errors in eventlog are present too (...has a bad block).

    Please check your disk:

Run HDTune to check health and scan for errors.

Note It may take some time, but look for signs of any errors or failure.

You can also run a disk check using chkdsk. Refer to the tutorial for details of how to do this.
