Windows 10: Random Bluescreening

Hi all,


I have had this issue for some time now and I feel its time to resolve it. All I can see in the logs that relate just before the Bluescreen is a bugcheck event in Event Manager -


The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x00000050 (0xffffefae848471b0, 0x0000000000000000, 0xfffffa97caa5cf3d, 0x0000000000000002). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: eb2c69a3-e16c-4070-9370-0f0d52bcc034.


Whenever it occurs the reason behind it is not always the same.


Help with this would be hugely appreciated!

Constant bluescreens - still not fixed

I don't think you understood my issue - my bluescreens are random, so I can't do a clean boot and provoke a bluescreen. I am not sure what the steps you suggested have anything to do with my problem and it is not clear how it will help. The PC does boot
up normally, it just crashes randomly during the day.

I am pretty sure the issue is related to a driver that could be incompatible with Win 10. Please check the older threads to further understand the issue.

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

 

random restarts
