Windows 10: RANDOM BSOD and SteamVR constant crashes

new system ryzen 5 3600 with aio cooler.....used gtx 1080ti....new oloy ddr4 3200 rgb ram 2x16gb....sabrent 2tb m.2 nvme....HP reverb g1


i can occasionally leave pc on all day without a single bsod...then sometimes can get random bsod without warning and more frequently on occasions

windows has been fully updated to h020 and steam updated aswell....i mainly use vr but seems lately nothing is playable as guaranteed to crash back to steam desktop....this wasnt the case a few weeks ago....ive reinstalled windows and updates....ran memtest 86...updated all drivers...disabled bluetooth and ethernet nd use wirelesss network only now....did a full format on ssd before installing win 10 again.....set dram in bios to xmp and manual voltage to 1.35 as recommended,,,,,,and still getting steam games crashing back to home screen and still getting random bsod


im bloody frustrated now and pleading for help


ps ive have also run superposition extremem many times with no issues and have strest test the system to hell to ensure all good and every stress ive done has not caused any issues....cpu can just about get to 80 degress on a 30min stress and gpu to about 76

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

Constant Crashing / BSOD

Hey. I've been having issues with my computer crashing or bluescreening. The time inbetween the crashes are random, and the messages in the BSOD's are seemingly random. If you need anything to help ID the problem, please let me know.
