    I have a legion 5 15arh05 laptop that has many problems, sometimes random BSOD for example like "IQRL not less or equal" or "page fault in nonpaged area amdkmdag.sys" and many others. the problem appears sometimes when trying to connect AC power and when browsing the internet it always shows “access violation status” or “breakpoint status” then automatically force close. and my windows defender is always disabled saying "threat service has stopped, restart now" I have done various ways such as - update the latest driver - update the latest windows - run sfc / scannow - run dism / onlinecheck -

    No suggestions but want to say nice laptop. They also seem to be popular being they're currently unavailable

    That said my only suggestion would be to take time to learn the laptop yourself.

  3. Random restart problem lenovo legion 5 15ARH05.

    Hello i have been having an issue lately with my lenovo legion 5. I bought this latop way back in October 2021, and had no issues since. But recently, these past few weeks, i have been experiencing a random restart without any warning or whatsoever. I have tried couple of fixes to fix the issue like:

    i. Changing the power plan

    ii. Turning off the auto restart option from system settings.

    iii. Updating all the drivers and bios to the latest version.

    iv. Factory resetting the laptop

    None of the above methods i tried worked and it has stressed me out latelty. My warranty is also out of due and i want to see if i can get a possible fix before i go to the repair shop to avoid expenses. I really want to avoid replacing my motherboard or buying a new laptop.

    I have posted the last fiveevent logs before my laptop restarts on its own below: (from bottom to up till the critical failure on event viewer)

    1. File System Filter 'mfehidk' (10.0, ‎2022‎-‎06‎-‎27T09:55:46.000000000Z) has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager.

    2. Volume C: (\Device\HarddiskVolume3) is healthy. No action is needed.

    3. File System Filter 'FileCrypt' (10.0, ‎1983‎-‎08‎-‎19T08:28:35.000000000Z) has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager.

    4. File System Filter 'npsvctrig' (10.0, ‎1979‎-‎12‎-‎19T21:42:41.000000000Z) has successfully loaded and registered with Filter Manager.

    5. The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.



    I would reallly appreciate if someone could find a fix for my problem!

    hope you doing well.

    unfortunately, I am writing to tell you that the problem is back even though I followed your advices

    the same issue is back, which is when I put my laptop to sleep or hibernate, sometimes it shutdown and i lose all the work, other times it turns on fine without issues and i can still have all the apps and work opened.

    i did not see or face any bluescreen issues, i think all good till now, also there is nothing in the windows problem reports:

    Also I did a full scan (full hardware diagnostic) for 2 hours, which runs all comprehensive tests for all component of my laptop: CPU, memory, Video Card, etc., and everything went fine, there is no issues, all components passed. the full scan was through Lenovo apps and website:

    in addition, i changed my SSD and did a full format and installed a new fresh windows.

    everything is up to date
