Windows 10: Random BSOD DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE amdppm.sys Ryzen 7 7700X

I am getting the occasional blue screen DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE which I think is caused by amdppm.sys.-When I use that program called WhoCrashed by Resplendence is indicating Driver power state failure to do with amdppm.sys Please see screen shot.-BlueScreenView by Nirsoft is blaming ntoskrnl.exe Please see screen shot.-Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Security and Maintenance\Problem Details isn't much help either Please see screen shot.is there anyone who can interpret a dmp file please?I know it is something to do with AMD but I cannot work it out.This was never ever an issue

1. Desktop

2. Windows 10 Pro

3. Ver. 1703 (OS Build 15063.413)

4. When using the computer (successfully booted into Windows) generally, not any specific program, it just bsod randomly

5. There's no error, bsod gives me DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE

6. Machine spec: ASUS Strix B350F GAMING, AMD Ryzen 7 1700, GSkill Flare X 2400Mhz 2x8GB, ASUS R9 390, an SSD and 2 HDD.

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

 

BSOD amdppm stopping me doing a fresh install

Was getting BSOD about 1 or 2 minutes after booting up, tried a system restore which didnt solve the problem but added more problems with provisions for some programs and now cant use start menu amongst others things (only right click works), having problems
opening any MS programs. Eventually solved the amdppm BSOD by changing regedit value of it from 3 to 4 which fixed the quick BSODs I was having. Eventually got another BSOD after few hours so decided to just fresh install but get the amdppm BSOD whilst trying
fresh install so cannot overwrite or repair windows.

Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 3600, X570, 1070, 32gb Ram, 1gb M.2 nvme.

Trying to upload my minidmps, which will follow but stuck on 0 bytes uploaded via one drive atm and posting in case i get another BSOD
