Windows 10: Random BSOD on Surface Book

Hi.
I've had a very stable Surface Book until the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Since then I've been getting random BSODs with a variety of stopcodes. The most prevalent one is IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, but I've had others.
Sometimes it will go a couple of days without BSODing, other times it will BSOD within a couple of hours.
I've done a memory test and it has reported no errors.
I'm not really sure what to do next to figure out what the problem may be, so I've come here for some assistance.
Can anyone give me some ideas on what might be causing the problem?

So any thoughts on resolution? Like I said, it shows up at random, then goes away ... at random. Both on my desktop and my Surface Book.

CONSTANT BSOD ERROR - CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

I have the exact same problem on my Surface Book.

Constraint BSOD (I have about 15 seconds to try and get it into Safe Mode, etc. after each boot) with CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED.

This problem persists in Safe Mode.

This problem persists in recovery screens.

There are NO DMP files, no mini dump files, etc.

My beautiful Surface Book is now my nightmare.

 

There was 1 BSOD mini dump file debugged which did not display a definitive misbehaving driver.

Perform the following steps:
1) open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
2) sfc /scannow
3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
4) chkdsk /scan
5) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread
6) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 passes. Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
This may take hours so plan to run it overnight.

The testing is done not by time but by passes.
The more passes the better.
There are a significant number of false negatives if fewer than 8 passes are made.
A false negative is a test pass when there is malfunctioning RAM.
There is 16 GB of RAM on the computer.
Memtest86+ version 5.01 testing takes approximately 1 - 2 hours /GB RAM
Just 1 error is a fail and you can abort testing.
Then test 1 RAM module at a time in the same DIMM each for 8 or more passes.
7) When Memtest86+ has completed 8 or more passes use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post an image into the thread.

8) open the Microsoft surface website for the computer's drivers including bios and post the URL into the thread
9) check for BIOS and driver updates

It does not appear possible to run the Memtest86+ on a Surface Book - no matter what you disable in the BIOS.
Is there an alternative?

Note
If you have fast boot or ultra fast boot enabled in your UEFI firmware settings, then you will need to temporarily disable fast boot or ultra fast boot to be able to boot from a USB.

1. Try another USB stick
2. Try all USB ports (2.0 and 3.0)
3. Maybe when using UEFI Bios you have to temporarily switch to Legacy in BIOS settings
4. Turn off temporarily fast boot, secure boot, CSM if enabled

This was reported in the past few months in another post:
1. I disabled the fast boot
2. I diasbled the secure boot control to get into CSM
3. I enabled the CSM and F10 to save and exit

 

The Surface Book does not appear to have any option to change Fast Boot - I suspect this is enabled and can't be switched off.
It only appears to have the Secure Boot option (which I had disabled).
It only has 2 USB 3.0 ports - both of which were tried.
It doesn't appear to have a Legacy switch or a CSM switch.

 

I'd just like to update everyone on this issue.
After running the various tests and posting the results to this Forum, I had a Windows 10 Feature Update come through.
Since that update I have had no BSODs at all.
I'm guessing there was an issue with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update and that Microsoft fixed it in a later update.
So all good here and thanks to zbook for taking the time to analyse the logs and reply.
