Windows 10: Random BSOD on the brand new Ryzen 3800X system

Good days to everyone,

On my computer, which I builted about 1 month ago, I started getting blue screen errors many times during the day. Almost every error has a different problem. I tried all kinds of things, narrowed the options in my own way, but I cannot get out of it.

My system properties. -AMD Ryzen 3800X. -ASUS TUF X-570 Wi-Fi. -Corsair Vengeance 16x2. -Samsung 970 Evo. -Seagate Barracuda. -ASUS TUF RTX 3070. -Corsair RM 850W

The things I've tried -BIOS update. -Format (when formatting, it gave a blue screen again just before the desktop came, so I formatted it again as it was not satisfied with me) -Driver updates. -Clean graphics card setup with DDU. -I got the default settings from the BIOS. -XMP closed. -I tried the RAMs one by one. -I tried on different slots. -Put the SSD other slot.

I scanned the RAMs with Windows Memory diagnostic. It found an error in one of the RAM, as in the picture below, I scanned it again later and the same RAM did not find any errors this time. So I tested the RAMs separately and together in Memtest86, it did not find any errors.

What I suspect is that the code of my RAMs is CMK32GX4M2D3200C16, it does not appear among the QWL RAMs on the motherboard manufacturer's website just because of this, could it explode after 1 month? Even after 1 month with no error?

I am thinking of sending the RAMs to service but I am not sure if the problem is with it.

Random BSOD and random small hangs Ryzen 3600 - Win10

Hello,

After I build an AMD Ryzen 3600 based PC, I have random crashes and very small hangings ("hickups").

I suggest it would be the memory but Memtest did not show any problem at all.

Just to be sure I bought other RAM moduls what are in the list of supported memories in the motherboard webpage.

I updated every driver, updated the BIOS for the latest.

I tried nearly anything what I can found in the net but the problem is still exist.

Usually this problem occure when I playing games or watching movies.

BSOD are not frequent but when it is happening it said :

"IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL"

I have no idea what is the problem.

Tried BlueScreenview to analyze the dumps but it found nothing informative or relevant.

Tried WhoCrashed and it said "too.sys" - I can not even find this file or no searches found about it.

 

Random BSOD while browsing internet


BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.

In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

 

AMD RYZEN 7 3800X OC cooler?

Putting a AMD Ryzen 73800X CPU on an ASUS AMD AM4 ROG Strix X570-E mobo and would like to OC the CPU - 4.9GHz would be my goal. My research tells me the CPU cooler that comes with the CPU is not capable of handling the increased speed. It comes with a Wrath Prism cooler.

I currently have an Intel i7-9700K mounted on an ASUS ROG Strix Z 390X-E mobo and it has all cores synced and runs at 4.9 GHz w/o any issues - BUT - it has a Noctua NH-D15 SSO2 D cooler - very very big cooler

Never having worked with an AMD cpu I have a some questions

1 - is it possible to duplicate the i7 settings on the AM4 - sync all cores? 4.9 GHZ clock speed?
2 - suggestions for a AM4 cooler that could handle the increased speed and is smaller than the Noctua cooler
