I just built my PC about a month ago and I am getting random BSOD while browsing. One happened on 04/20 and another happened on 04/11. I keep my system drivers up to date. Would you help me with these BSODs?

    Thanks,
    ~John

    PFN_List_Corrupt

    Hi there,

I have been trying to fix a BSOD error of PFN_List_Corrupt for a few weeks now with my Windows 10 install. It's very random, but annoying. I've run memtest a few times with no findings. I've reinstalled various drivers and no luck. I just recently did a
fresh Win 8.1 install to the SSD and then upgraded to Win 10. I am assuming I need to do another fresh install of 10, but before going through that, I thought I would ask the community if there was an easy PFN_List_Corrupt fix. I've searched around a fair
bit and tried some of the suggested fixes, but so far, nothing has worked.

Verifier.exe puts me in a BSOD loop. Luckily, I had a system restore point and used that.

Here is a link to my three most recent Minidump files:

    Minidump.zip

    Three different driver crashes here

    - First one, the PFN_List_Corrupt (0x0000004e) caused by ntoskrnl.exe

    - Second one, Nvlddmkm.sys

    - Third one, Driver Verifier BSOD loop caused by aswsnx.sys (my Avast antivirus) as well as ntoskrnl.exe

Anyway, would love any suggestions as to best go about repairing this. Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't see anything useful in the two dumps. I did find 19 occurrences of this in eventlog.txt:
Code: Event[3139]: Log Name: System Source: Disk Date: 2017-04-21T21:15:12.788 Event ID: 153 Task: N/A Level: Warning Opcode: N/A Keyword: Classic User: N/A User Name: N/A Computer: DESKTOP-SNJQ6UF Description: The IO operation at logical block address 0x0 for Disk 3 (PDO name: \Device\00000074) was retried.[/quote] Are you running a RAID setup? Everything I'm finding about this error pertains to RAID.

Edit: Also curious about your configuration. From what I can see you have 3 network devices, a wireless and 2 ethernets. Are you or were you having network problems as I see you switching between the 2 ethernet NICs?

Also looks like you have 3 optical drives. Never seen a setup like this before.

I have an Asus X99 Deluxe U 3.1, X99-DELUXE/U3.1 | Motherboards | ASUS USA It has 2 Ethernet Ports and built-in Wi-Fi and Bluethooth, although I have the Wi-Fi and Bluethooth disabled. I installed all the drivers, which included the Intel Rapid Storage device. I have not had any network problems.

    Thanks,
    ~John

    What about using RAID?

Disk #3 is the WD Ext HDD 1021 USB Device. Try disconnecting it and see if that makes a difference.

OK, just removed it and we will see how it goes, usually happens about once a week.
