    Random bsods - ntoskrnl.exe

Hey there, this my first time here. And sorry if BSOD of this type already have already been fixed.
These bsods started appearing out of nowhere. I have no idea what is the cause. They usually appear when I am playing games or watching youtube videos. But they appear when the PC is idle too.
I have attached the dm log collector files. I hope you will help me fix this problem.
    Thanks.

    :)

0x139 Bug check BSOD happening a lot.

i only know from bluescreenview that the bsods were caused by ntoskrnl.exe and sometimes random drivers.

heres the link to the skydrive containing the 32 minidumps: OneDrive

Hello kipup123 and welcome to 10forums! *Smile

I've looked through the dumps and thankfully we know what caused them.

There were a couple of dumps that pointed to memory corruption, so please without further ado perform memtest86+ for at least 8 passes:
    memtest86+

I also noticed some dumps that were complaining about dxgmms2 which is a driver for DirectX and this is normally fixed by updating old graphics card drivers, well ye behold what I found:
Code: 12/16/2015 7:33:30 PM C:\WINDOWS\system32\DRIVERS\nvlddmkm.sys[/quote] Please head on over here to download the necessary drivers:
    GeForce Drivers

Thanks for replying. I ran memtest86+ for about 2-3 passes and got a lot of errors. Downloading the latest drivers.
P.S. : Stupid question, I need to replace my RAM, right?
    Hail Boris!

What I would do is seat the module into another slot and run the test again to make sure it is not the slot that is the cause, because if the slot is the cause you have a faulty component on your mainboard.

Who provided you the module? I can't find anything about it.
Code: [Memory Device (Type 17) - Length 34 - Handle 0045h] Physical Memory Array Handle 0007h Memory Error Info Handle [Not Provided] Total Width 64 bits Data Width 64 bits Size 8192MB Form Factor 09h - DIMM Device Set [None] Device Locator ChannelB-DIMM1 Bank Locator BANK 3 Memory Type 18h - Specification Reserved Type Detail 0080h - Synchronous Speed 1333MHz Manufacturer 0000 Serial Number Asset Tag Number Part Number V01D3LF8GB52852813[/quote]

  7. ^ Exactly what axe0 said, there is no information anywhere about that RAM, any possibility getting more information?

Could you for example post a screenshot of Speccy looking at RAM information?

    Sorry for the late reply.

I bought it from a local store, I thought of buying a cheap RAM till I buy a good one. But that RAM worked fine for me so I moved along with it. Attaching speccy screenshot.

Thanks for helping! I finally bought a new RAM and updated all my drivers. Not even a single blue screen yet, so yes bad RAM was the cause. Thanks once again. *Biggrin

P.S. How did you find that RAM was the issue or video card driver needed to updated?

When MemTest86+ is showing errors the procedure is to find out if the slot or module is the cause, to prepare myself for this kind of suggestions I do a small bit of research beforehand, because I keep forgetting the specs of a component, and in your case it is clear the number of the memory module isn't on the internet except for this thread.
When a module number or company of a product can't be found it is a notice of scam.
Such products have a very short lifetime what makes it a waste of money.
