Is that so? I thought it was just specific to my case.
It happens randomly. I am usually browsing the web or in game when it freezes.

However it doesnt freeze all the time. For example I have been using the PC for the last 2 days and no freeze, but the 2 days before that it froze 1-2 times each day.

It rarely occurs that logs are created that lead to the cause of the freezes, but then it usually is a hard drive problem IME.

Does a freeze ever occur shortly after startup, or about an hour after startup? (i.e. a startup service causing problems)

We ran some tests for the OS disk and they were in the positive. Do you think I should get a new SSD?

The PC usually freeze after an hour (sometimes a couple). However it has frozen 2-3 times when restarted after a freeze, this is not common like the usual freeze (which happens after one hour or more).

What I would do in your situation is perform a vanille installation of Windows 10 and see if that causes any problems.
    - A vanille installation: an up to date clean installation of Windows 10 with default drivers installed by Windows.

If it causes problems then you could think of replacing the SSD.

Note Remove as much as possible devices (Hard drives that don't hold the OS partition, peripheral, etc.)

I will give that a go when time permits. Could I install the necessary drivers for the PC to function ie graphics card etc?
One more thing, even if I skip the drivers wont Win10 auto download all these drivers and install it? Do you think I should let windows download and install the graphics driver too or should I install that myself (only the driver without the clutter like you guided me on this thread before)?

When you install Windows for the first time (and Windows checks for the first time for updates) Windows checks for and installs drivers, these include graphics drivers and some others.

If you install drivers that is not from Windows, then you don't have a vanille installation and that's not what is requested. Requested is a vanille installation, thus only drivers that Windows provides.

I did as stated. Installed some updates and rebooted and it showed the message stating that the updates were being configured and it froze at ~90%. I waited for an hour but it didnt go through. Rebooted the PC again and it froze after using it a bit.

I was tired of the issue so I got a new SSD for the OS and removed the older one. I have been using the PC for a few weeks now on the new SSD and the issue is gone so I think we can safely assume that the SSD is faulty. I am just using the old SSD as an external disk to store some redundant data and so far it is working alright for this purpose.

TL;DR - Had to replace my SSD.
