Windows 10: Random BSOD's

    The last 2 days I have experienced random BSOD messages and have no idea what is going on, this system has been working fine until now *Sad

    Any help would be great.

    Computer Type: PC/Desktop
    OS: windows 10 64bit
    CPU: 4770k
    Motherboard: msi z97 pc mate
    Memory: kington 16gb ddr3
    Graphics Card: gtx 1070
    Hard drive: samsung pm951 oem nvme ssd
    Lycom DT-120 M.2 PCI-e SSD to PCI-e Adapter Card

    Things I have tried:
    Reset cmos
    Reset bios settings
    New ram
    New PSU
    New windows installation
    Updated bios
    Run memtest 0 errors found
    Run chkdsk 0 errors found

    ntoskrnl.exe+1640e0 BSOD error

    So far, with one memory chip no BSOD. But, getting a BSOD would be random and infrequent.

    I've went through that article in the past and still have gotten BSOD.

    DISM, Windows Reset/Refresh not working.

    Faulty RAM can give rise to 'random' blue screens (BSODs).

    Random BSOD's

    It appears your installation is counterfeit, as such I cannot provide support until it has been cleared up.

    Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
    A counterfeit installation contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
    For this reason, analyzing counterfeit systems is unreliable and analysts won't try it.
    I recommend to install a genuine copy of Windows.
    If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.

    Im with lots of bsods here too! I will try to run a Linux install to help me diagnose hardware problems. If Linux runs ok, means hardware is ok.

    There's a "Intel processor diagnostic tool" that can help test processor too.
