Windows 10: Random connectivity loss on particular Wifi network.

Hi,Our devices are experiencing random disconnects on a particular wifi network.The devices are Lenovo and HP 450 laptops, Windows 11, latest drivers, and devices are managed via Intune.It happens only on that network; connectivity on any other network is fine.What can be the reason for this behavior?How to fix it? If your WiFi adapter can see the network concerned then it has the 2.4GHz/5.0GHz/5.8GHz capability required. And do note that this does not mean the same as "2G", "5G", terms which refer to mobile data capabilities.
Whatever your problem is, it lies elsewhere.

I suggest temporarily disabling your antimalware application as an experiment.
I once had BitDefender refusing to use one specific WiFi adapter without bothering to tell me so I just thought I had connection/password problems at first.

I agree that considering the security type is worthwhile & that temporarily turning encryption off would be a useful experiment.
This is one of the parameters reported by NirSoft WiFiInfoView but you should be able to check everything in your router specs anyway.

Can't connect to a particular wifi network

laptop running Win 10 18362.

Wifi Adaptor: Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn

I have a newly installed internet connection with a new router. I can connect to the wifi using all my other devices but not the laptop, but I can connect to all other networks using this laptop.

The wifi just doesn't show up in the available networks GUI or on running the "netsh wlan show networks" command, but it shows up fine and connects to all other devices.

It connects when I use a lan cable.

It is not a range issue as the laptop can detect and connect to much weaker networks. For some reason won't detect this particular network. What to do?

 

Wifi only connects to Gmail but nothing else, and only one on particular network

I can connect to Gmail online but nothing else, but this is only on one particular wifi network, which happens to be in a place where I do some consulting work. Any suggestions as to what might fix this?
