Windows 10: Random crashes and restarts checked all "solutions"

Since 2-3 months now mid Aug 2024, my Surface Laptop Studio randomly restarts. When it's in sleep mode, and often also after everything freezes for 4-5 seconds and crashes. At least 3 times a day this happens.I have everything up to date to the teeth, antivirus running, and it worked well for years before, nothing has changed. Now I'm searching for tips on solutions, checking services, logs etc every day. Blocking different common suspects like Native Instruments hardware checker, GameInput thing, some Razor GPU software, Teams, MS PowerToys etc but still the same. Going crazy and can't le

If a Windows computer random restarts, the device usually have some damaged system components. For us to provide an accurate solution, we would need you to answer the following questions:

Hardware failure or system instability can cause the computer to
randomly restarts. As our initial troubleshooting step, we suggest you to run the Power troubleshooter on your computer and check if it fixes the issue. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows key.
• Type Troubleshoot.
• Under Find and fix other problems look for
  Power.
• Then Run the troubleshooter.

Random Crash/Freeze on Build 10130


Hello everyone.

I have been running the Windows 10 preview for the last few months and other than a driver issue here or there, did not experience any real problems. However, with the last update to build 10130, I have been experiencing a random crash/freeze that manifests itself in one of two ways:

1. If I step away from the computer and come back before the monitor is set to go to sleep, I will come back to a frozen cursor, unable to do anything.
2. If I step away from the computer and come back after the monitor has gone to sleep, I will come back to a black screen, unable to do anything.

In both cases, I have to hold the power button in to shut down the computer for a restart.

Any direction or help would be greatly appreciated.
