Windows 10: Random Crashes - Drive Verifier dmp file attached

Hi, I'm getting random crashes on my new build. Drive Verifier went into a Driver Verifier detected violation loop but I managed to get some dmp files from it. They point to a vhf.sys and ntoskrnl.exe. The windows drive is new and the install is only 2 days old. Thanks!

System Hard Crashes. Driver Verifier BSOD ( BTRFS.SYS ) -> Attached DMP File

DMP File: OneDrive

Symptoms: Random system hard-crash.

Steps taken to generate DMP file:

I ran the Driver Verifier (directions followed here) and obtained the following DMP file.

Offending module appears to be BTRFS.SYS as per WinDBG.

DMP File Preview:

DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (c4)

A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught. This is

because the driver was specified in the registry as being suspect (by the

administrator) and the kernel has enabled substantial checking of this driver.

If the driver attempts to corrupt the system, BugChecks 0xC4, 0xC1 and 0xA will

be among the most commonly seen crashes.

Arguments:

Arg1: 0000000000002000, Code Integrity Issue: The caller specified an executable pool type. (Expected: NonPagedPoolNx)

Arg2: fffff802f2d06f85, The address in the driver's code where the error was detected.

Arg3: 0000000000000000, Pool Type.

Arg4: 0000000000000000, Pool Tag (if provided).

my PC is crashing and I found on forums, that I need to run driver verifier and attach dump file:

Can someone help? Crashes are random.

BSOD with DMP files attached


Hello,
I was hoping someone can look at my DMP files and analyze what is causing my computer to crash. I'm am not exactly sure I need to provide more details, because I believe the DMP files are all that is necessarily. The crashes have occurred lately while I was importing video from VHS tape using a pinnacle DVC digital converter. Halway through my import I got the BSOD. This happened three times. I had put my computer under stress with driver verifier and these were my last three dumps. Thank you to anyone that can help and I will provide any information upon request. Cheers
