Windows 10: Random crashes, freezes, BSOD with Asus z790 14700k G-Skill 64GB XMP 6000 latest Bios

Hello, I am getting random crashes, freezes, and BSOD on my new Bios. I knew there were issues with the 13th and 14th-generation CPUs, but it was fine on older bios before a tech person from Asus told me to update them due to XMP issues. I am not sure what to do because the BSOD gives a random error reason each time. Thank you in advance for your help.Jeff aka Phantom Phreak

Micro freezes when booting programs (random) and also stuttering in game.

A while ago i bought a 14700k with a tomahawk z790 and some g skill 6000. And i also bought a new nvme (samsung 990 pro) but ever since installing a windows there has been these little freezes / hickup when booting programs. But also just windows explorer and such. And this is random, one time it freezes for a microsecond and the other time it does not.

Everything has been stress tested, no equipment is faulty.

I recently went back to windows 10 and the issues dissapeared. Now im back on windows 11 and the microfreezes are back.

I have updated everything, like bios drivers and let windows update do their thing.

This also happens with the most basic install so i know its not any 3rd party software.

I have tried a different ssd and ram but it did not fix it.

On latencymon im getting huge spikes which i can not identify what causes it ,only can avoid by turnin on disable idle (hidden power plan setting), but i dont really want that.

Does anyone have had similair issues and fixed it or should i just go back to windows 10?

 

Random crashing/freezing issues

Built a new pc with all new components Asus Z790-P WiFi motherboard with 12900k I9 processor 32Gb Corsair DDR5 Ram, Crucial M.2 2 tb SSD for the OS and a fresh install of Win11. The crashing and freezing both appear to be completely random as they either happen during boot or post boot. I have all of the latest updates for windows, the latest bios for my motherboard, and the latest drivers for all of my system components. I have also wiped the whole system all of the drives and started fresh with a clean install of Win11 and I still have the same issues. I have also ran several burn in tests and the system passes during these but as soon as I reset the computer the crashing starts again. I have also ran MEMTEST64 for over 20 passes without a failure. I have sent my motherboard in a for an RMA to the manufacturer and they could not find the issue and said it checked out okay. At this point I am at a total loss and have no idea what to do next.

 

BSOD problem Win11

I have the problem above and the computer is just recently built. I need to restart games several times and still they crash and it is not every game it is random. What can we learn from above information.
