Windows 10: Random crashes, then boot device not found

Hello thereMy pc is OMEN by HP Desktop PC - 880 - 100nzI've already had this issue last year and the only solution I had then was to fully reinstall windows with all my files deleted. My pc worked perfectly fine again after that until now.I can be doing nothing on my computer and it'll crash out of nowhere, some days it won't crash at all while on others it crashes like 3 times. The only thing it has in common is that when it attempts to restart automatically, it'll say that no boot device can be found but simply turning it off and waiting for about 20 seconds will make it start up normally

Corrupted system files or it boot to a different hard drive that it why you received the message Boot Device no found. To better assist you, we'd like to gather more information:

• Have you made any changes prior to this issue?
• Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to perform automatic repair:

• Force turn off your computer/device 3 times until you reach the Automatic Repair environment.
• On the list of options under Advance options, choose Start-up Repair and perform the instructions.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Random Crash/Freeze on Build 10130


Hello everyone.

I have been running the Windows 10 preview for the last few months and other than a driver issue here or there, did not experience any real problems. However, with the last update to build 10130, I have been experiencing a random crash/freeze that manifests itself in one of two ways:

1. If I step away from the computer and come back before the monitor is set to go to sleep, I will come back to a frozen cursor, unable to do anything.
2. If I step away from the computer and come back after the monitor has gone to sleep, I will come back to a black screen, unable to do anything.

In both cases, I have to hold the power button in to shut down the computer for a restart.

Any direction or help would be greatly appreciated.
