Random Crashes with blackscreen that result in shutdown.

I'm facing crashes where my screen turns blacks and my pc restarts. Typically occurring when I am gaming. As it was new in windows install I was able to clean install windows 2-3 times it still occurs. I don't get what's causing the issue as nothing occurs when I am stress testing my cpu and gpu.

    :)

My computer crashes shortly after I launch a Game.

As a result it now still crashes in game but instead of random color splotches it crashes with a blackscreen.

We just want to verify a few things about the issue you're having with the issue that's going on on your PC. Please provide answers to the questions below:

    • Can you tell us what were the troubleshooting steps that you have done so far?
    • About the random shutdown, is this concern happening prior to the update?

    We'll wait for your reply.

Random Crashes with blackscreen that result in shutdown.

    Dell xps13 9310 random shutdown/crashes

    Hi Olly

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Click your Start Button, then just type event and form the resulting list, open the Event Viewer

In the left pane of the Event Viewer utility, select Windows Logs - System

In the right pane, select 'Save All Events As' and save that to a file.

Please upload that file to the Cloud (OneDrive, DropBox... etc.) and post a share link here, I will try to find the source of the crashes/shutdowns for you.
