Random EXE Files appearing in Roaming\Microsoft\Network, what could this mean?

Recently I have been having this problem where on some random days my pc always loses focus on any program randomly. When I used a program to track which program Windows focuses on I noticed it was being focused on a random program in the Folder "Roaming\Microsoft\Network". This has happened a few times these past few months and there is always a new exe file that appears in there. I have tried to run an Anti Virus Like Malwarebytes but with no luck of detection. Was I infected with something and if so is there a way to figure out what is causing the issue or is this just another weird Windows thing. Any answer helps.

    :)

  2. Suspected infection in AppData\Roaming\.exe

    Original title: AppData\Roaming\.exe

Can someone tell me what this is?

    • C:\Users\knenina\AppData\Roaming\522001c91a0ba0c96d004d78\522001c91a0ba0c96d004d78.exe

My Antivirus said Application.Downloader.AAB (Suspected infection) but then it also says

"Cannot open file" error occurred: The "Cannot open file" error message means that the scanner was unable to open a file and that this file was not scanned. You can normally ignore this error message as there are many reasons for this message
that do not imply a security threat, including:

    • The file was a system file. System files are protected by the operation system by design. You can ignore this message in this case.
    • You do not have permission to read the file. To scan the file, log in with a user account with sufficient permissions (for example the computer's administrator account) and rescan.
    • The file was in use by an application when the scan was performed. To scan this file, close all applications and rescan.
Said I have to manually remove i'm unsure how to do that exactly.

Or is this a valid file? This just appeared today.

  4. Random EXE Files appearing in Roaming\Microsoft\Network, what could this mean?

Blocking of EXE file by network security programmes

The file is block by something called smoothwall. It appears to block most, if not all, .exe files from downloading. The file GPU-Z has been identified as a system tool.

I've notice that if these file are .7z or even .zip they most often get thru.

I've no control of this blocking process.
