  1. Random file in WindowsC:/Users that is requesting to run on a app

I've recently encountered this file that is in my Users folder which says its just a file with my name on it, and every time I boot up my PC it says that it wants to run on a application and I should choose one, can I delete it and does that fix the problem of it wanting to run on my PC?

    :)

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

Current active users that are friends

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

To better assist you, please clarify the following:

    • What steps have you taken so far?
    • did you receive and error message?

I would suggest you to run System File Checker. its a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restored corrupted files. Follow the steps below:

    • Press Win + R on the keyboard
    • Type CMD the hit OK
    • Type: sfc/scannow at the Command Prompt.

Let us know how it goes.
