    Random internet issues.

    Hello,

For about a little over 2 weeks now, I've been dealing with my internet slowing down/dropping at random times. The first 2 days it seemed to be most of the day. Then 2 days only in the evening and now it just happens randomly. Last time it happened was yesterday, right as I was about to call it a day and before that, it was a week ago.

Whenever it happens, I will notice my net slowing down, pings will be all over the place, ranging from normal 10-30 MS to over 1k. Even to my modem. And as time goes on there will also be timeouts, slowing down more and more. After 30 minutes or so usually, can be shorter or longer it will practically be unusable.

I'm on a desktop pc, windows 10. My internet is connected through powerline adapters. However switching to wifi doesn't help, same issues there. Every other device connected to the network works just fine though. It's just my pc.

    Things I've tried:

    Dns flush/IP renew/Netsh commands/changed DNS server.

Turned off IPV6 and my virusscanner .

Reset my network adapters and changed the power saving mode settings.
Changed my modem to a new one.

None of that had any effect. The only thing I notice is that whenever I restart my pc, my net seems to work for a little bit though it will just randomly here and there too. And turning my pc off for a while I turned it off for an hour SEEMS to fix the issue for that day. Though I don't know if that was a coincidence or not.

These issues started to happen about a week after I updated windows 10 to the 2004 update. But I do not know if that could be the reason?

    :)

    Random BSOD while browsing internet

BitDefender is nothing special. mwac.sys causes BSODs anywhere.
A tiny documentation can be found here: Solved Random BSODs - Windows 10 Forums
In that very thread, the suggested action apparently worked.

The storage and network filters of any third party antivirus can cause BSODs. Neither MBAM nor BitDefender is any special. For a regular antivirus, it may be shifted to an alternative; but MBAM has no alternative. So a clean install of the said program is the most feasible first step.
As far as the first step is not failing, it is better to not think for the second step. Because the BSODs are not universal, failure at the first step is not universal; and success at the second step is also not universal.
That is why I posted that my suggestion may work, or may not. Let us see where it goes.

    Random internet issues.

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
