    Random lag spikes after new windows update, how to fix?


    After a recent update, I've been having these random lag spikes happening every 10-20 minutes, I've tried mdsched.exe, optimizing both my sdd and hdd, closing background apps, restarting pc, checking for new drivers.     Random Mouse Lag Spikes - Windows 10

    So recently I have upgraded to Windows 10 and I immediately noticed random/periodic lag spikes in my mouse, especially while playing games. Are there any fixes to this problem or is a fix going to be released in a near update?

    Hi,

    We would like to know more about your lag issue:

    • What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
    • Does the lag occur in a particular game?

    In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

    Random lag spikes after the latest windows update (may 24, 2018)

    first, sorry if my english not so good..

    I noticed that after this windows update I started experiencing random lag spikes, my pc lags for about 2 seconds at a random time.

    I ALSO NOTICED THAT EVERY TIME THAT LAG SPIKE OCCURS, MY INTEL HD 63O iGpu SPIKES ALSO TO 100%. and its so annoying especially when gaming. note: that this also happens when just browsing the web or normal use of windows. I never experienced this before..
    PLEASE HELP!
