Windows 10: Random lockups after installing the new Windows 10 May 2004 update

Ever since I upgraded to the new Windows 10 May 2020 2004 update my computer locks up at random the mouse is the only thing still able to move and the clock seems to be still working.

My computer's new and it's also doing this on my other computer ever since I upgraded to the new version of Windows 2004 one thing I have noticed Google Chrome was open each time but I have been using Chrome for years and never had any problems.

The only way to unlock the computer is to restart it by pushing the restart button on the computer since the start menu is also locked up.

By what I'm hearing the new update is full of bugs some very bad I rather not downgrade to the older version of Windows 10 but I may have to this is getting on my nerves.

My computer has the Ryzen 5 3600 with 32GB 3200MHz memory so it's not memory related and I have a 500GB SSD

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
