Windows 10: Random low gpu usage leads to whole pc on 10 and below fps

Hi, I have a pc with specs:Intel Xeon 2600Amd rx46016gb ram ddr3 1300mhz i thinkPsu cooler master 550WWindows 10 proFirst when I bought the pc, the fps in game was great and I could list the games such as,Warzone- 55+ fpsApex- 70+ fpsValorant- 90+ fpsGenshin- steady 60 fpsBut lately, I noticed when i booted windows, it load so slow and my whole windows is lagging. It couldn’t even load calculator.So i did some test run on Apex with task manager on,I noticed that the gpu usage was below 20% and cpu usage on about 60%. And funny, when i flick my gpu, sometimes it will run like normal. The usag

inconsistent fps and low gpu usage after factory resetting my pc.

After doing a factory reset on my pc, I noticed my fps got inconsistent when playing games. I also saw my gpu usage was around 30%-60% which is not normal for my computer. My GPU usage would usually sit around 90% before the factory reset.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x

GPU: Rx 5600xt

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 3200mhz 2x8

 

Low fps, gpu usage etc. after pc on for a while, only reboot fixes.

Hey everyone,

Basically I was over at the geforce forums when another forum member assisted me in realising that potentially a Windows update has caused the problem I am having with my GPU.

TL;DR above thread;

So after my system is on for a few hours, I will start up a new game and it will run like crap. I usually play at 144hz vsync on, games will hover around 20-50fps, never stable and is unplayable. Only restarting the comp fixes it, have reformatted Windows, done everything I can software-wise to no avail. Came back to comp two months ago after 6 months of non-use -no memory of issue before, so therefore leads me to believe windows updates have changed how GPU works with OS. All clocks and numbers fine - GPU usage, mhz, mem usage etc.

Hope anyone here can shed some light on the matter and help me realise if windows updates is even a matter for concern. Thanks in advance.

From the problems he is mentioning it is not the case at all. his GPU usage suddenly drops sometimes, which also leads to lower fps....
