Windows 10: Random network disconnection. If I press restart after network dc it gives that round...

Already did a reset pc without keeping files.

It happens randomly. Last time it happened, I opened qbittorrent and then boom network gone and showed the globe symbol. Press restart - restarting screen for 3-5 minutes. then bsod saying driver state failure. It fixes it self after a reboot.

Already power settings are on High Performance.

Anyone else with this issue?

Hmmm i've tried that it didn't seem to work still disconnected the network =\ and yeah im on xp

NIC = Network Inteface Card, i.e. your ethernet port

if its on power saving mode, it automatically shuts the NIC down. meaning that you will be disconnected from the network.

if your on XP, go into device manager, right click the network adapter. and see if you can find a power saving mode, turn that off.

if your on vista its the same thing.

 

Can't remove disconnected (ghost) network device

Thanks for the suggestion, but it can't remove the NIC:




It's the only Intel I219-V that shows up in the device list of the DeviceCleaner program (it shows only non-present devices as I understand). Otherwise, the tool works - I found a ghost replica of the integrated GPU (Intel HD 530) and could remove it. Only the NIC gives this error message on removal, which is probably the reason I can't remove it the normal way through the device manager.
