  1. Random PC restarts – Kernel-Power 41 – BIOS/drivers updated, all hardware tested

Hi everyone,I’ve been dealing with a frustrating issue for several months now: my PC randomly restarts without warning. There’s no BSOD, no freeze — it just suddenly reboots. I’ve attached the error log below Kernel-Power, Event ID 41.So far, I’ve tried the following troubleshooting steps:Bought a brand new power supply → no changeRan MemTest86 on my old RAM: found errors → bought new RAM → no changeSwapped the GPU with another one → no changeTried different power outlets around the house → no changeRemoved the CMOS battery → no changeUpdated BIOS, chipset, and all drivers → no changeI’m star

Kernel Power 41 PC randomly restarts

My PC keeps restarting randomly, the GPU fans ramp up to 100% and no blue screen of death, just a black screen and the pc restarts, sometimes the monitor will report No Signal during the random restart process.

Hi, my PC keeps either restarting randomly, it says it is Kernel Power 41 in event viewer

I have tried memtest86 for over 12 hours
I have tried sfc /scannow and CHKDSK
My pc is not overheating, GPU temps never go above 73 and CPU never above 65
It never occurs while in a game, so whenever PC is under load, the issue never occurs
I have used DDU to uninstall graphics driver
I have changed my power settings in windows
I've updated my drivers, including BIOS

    Windows 10 Pro version: 20H2

  3. Kernel power 41 issue causes the PC to restart

My name is . I'm an Independent Advisor and I will be happy to help you today.

Kernel Power error 41(63) usually means a hardware problem with the power supply. If possible, test using another PSU to see if the problem persists.

In some cases it can also mean problems with power management in the BIOS or motherboard, in this case try turning off all CPU power saving modes in the BIOS settings.

  4. Random PC restarts – Kernel-Power 41 – BIOS/drivers updated, all hardware tested

    Kernel-Power 41 (63)

I have tested almost everything suggested on the internet. Only thing left which I did not get a chance to experiment was : overclocking and disabling cstate and intel-speedstep in bios

Here is what I have tried

    1. updated display adapters for nvidia and intel
    2. fixed device error related to bluetooth and nvidia intel driver in iobit/tools/device repair
    3. updated the bios from dell.com
    4. cleared tpm.
    5. realtek card reader driver was pointed as faulty by iobit. it is available 07sep2015 release date on dell website
iobit installs it with 03-12-2018 release date
    6. enabled/disabled realtek pcie card reader
    7. disabled bluetooth in windows settings
    8. disabled blutetooth driver in device manager (qualcomm atheros)
    9. defrag hard drives using iobit
    10. mem test
    11. disabled intel r display audio in device manager
    12. experimented with sleep, hibernate and various display settings.
    13. Fix Windows Kernel event id 41 error (6 Quick Steps) | Kernel-Power 41

bthusb error was often seen before the crash in event-viewer. But I probably resolved it by uninstalling bluetooth driver.
