Windows 10: Random Person Added To GroupMe But Can't Remove Them

I am the admin for a school related GroupMe, and in the chat it says that a person has joined the GroupMe. However, I did not send this person the link and when I go to the members tab to remove him, he does not appear in the list, so I can't remove him. Any help would be appreciated. For this specific group it's a safety concern; I turned off group sharing and made it so I give permission to anyone else who now joins. I also can't find anything about this person anywhere. Weird!

To verify your number if you didn't receive a PIN:

1. Keep the GroupMe app on the PIN screen. If you go through the registration process again, it will generate a new PIN, which could make things confusing.
   
2. Contact support and let us know you’re having trouble receiving your PIN. Make sure to include your phone number.

There is a GroupMe account with my daughter's phone number but someone else's email. She cannot receive the reset emails so how can she create her own account?

• Go to the Forgot Password page on GroupMe.

• Select ‘Reset password’, then follow the instructions.
  

If your daughter still can’t access her account after these steps, I recommend contacting GroupMe Support. They should be able to help you recover the account.

Remember, it’s important to keep your personal information secure. In the future, consider enabling two-step verification for added security. This will require re-verification of the phone number each time two-step verification is turned off or on again.
