Windows 10: Random piano noise on Windows 10

Sometimes the PC plays piano key noise. Most of the times when: PC turns off screen display, I join a Google Meet call. Sometimes it also plays that sound when I join a Discord call. I use Windows 10 Pro version: 20H2PC: HP EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower PC

Ever since I installed Windows 10 on my computer sometimes when I click on things such as going to a Discord Channel and I get the weird piano like noise or when I'm in games I click on something and I get the weird noise if you know how to fix this please
let me know.

We understand your concern as you are getting a sound similar to a piano sound, while accessing other application. This could be due to multiple reasons, one of them is notification sound. It can also be a system error sound for a program/app running
in background or for the program/app you are using at that particular time. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Windows 10 Version and Build installed? (Type winver
  in Windows search/Run command)
• What is the make and model of the PC?
• Does this sound occur specifically during games and accessing discord channel?
• Do you have any Notification enabled for any app/program?

In this scenario, we would like you to check if the sound occurs while accessing specifically Discord or any particular game. Also check if the sound occurs while browsing or accessing other program.

Method 1: Turn off Notifications

I would suggest you to turn off notifications by Change
notification settings in Windows 10
and see if it helps. You may also perform these steps:

1. Press Windows + R key, to open Run dialog box.
   
2. Copy & Paste this command: control mmsys.cpl,,2 and click on OK.
   
3. This should open the Sound Settings. Under Sound Schemes, try disabling Notification sounds and check.​
   

Method 2: Put the PC in software clean boot, refer the article
How to perform a clean boot in Windows. A ‘clean boot’
starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs.

If performing a clean boot fixes the issue then, please refer to the section
How to determine what is causing the problem after you do a clean boot
to check which program is causing the issue.

Note: After you finish troubleshooting, follow the section
Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting
to reset the computer to start normally.

Random Noise

My computer has been making a random noise since I first got it (yesterday). I found the noise and turned it off, but it is still making the noise. It's really annoying when I'm trying to do things that require my focus. How can I fix this?
