Windows 10: Random Programs stop reacting to mouse events

Since last update some programs stop to perceiving mouse events.
It can happen to any program you leave open for a lttle while randomly. Some would stay responsive to moouse while other(s) won't. They will still obey to keyboard shortcuts but ignore any mouse clicks.
In fact it is worse than ignoring... if you click anywhere in the window of these 'unresponsive' programs, the focus would imediately go to whatever window was 'behind' it. That being other open program (if responsive to mouse) or the desktop.
like... you use alt tab to bring the focus to the window you want, you click anywhere in the window of the one you chose, the windows disappear instantly (minimize?) and you end up staring at a window you didn't want (whatever was 'behind' it in the tab order).
Are there others going through the same issue? Any patch or other fix for that?

random shutdown problem in event log

im expierenceing random shutdowns when playing games but the wierd part is is that the mouse stays on and the keybaord. and when i wiggle the mouse the computer boots up.

would this weird error be an error in the the event log.
if so what would it be under????

Since the above suggestions didn't work on your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps below for us to further locate the device driver that has been causing conflict on your system.

• Go to Settings.
• Click Devices.
• Scroll down, then select Device manager.
• Look for the mouse icon, then click it.
• Right-click on the available drivers.
• Select Uninstall.
• Re-connect your Microsoft mouse, so that the system will reinstall the correct driver.

I TRIED BOTH SUGGESTIONS WITH NO RESOLUTION.

I CAN NOT IDENTIFY THE MICROSOFT MOUSE PROGRAM ON MY LIST OF PROGRAMS SO THAT

I CAN UNINSTALL IT AND THE ERROR MESSAGE I GET WHICH CITES THE CONFLICT ONLY GIVES ME

THE OPTION TO UNINSTALL THE SYNAPTICS PROGRAM
