  1. Random "services and controller app" appeared in my new pc

So i just got a new pc litterally one day ago. I only got to install 2 cracked games that i had on a USB. (Dont judge me) But suddenly today when decided to boot it up windows defender popped up asking me if i want to allow access to this "services and controller app" i looked online and nobody had any idea what it is or what it does. Some people reported that it has very high cpu usage in task manager and some people think its some kind of virus. I decided not to allow access to it in windows defender and it still shows up running in the background in task manager. It's cpu usage to me is at 0% so far. I have no idea how it could have got in my pc except for those 2 games that i installed on it but i already had those 2 games installed on the other pc and they were fine. Does anyone have any idea what this is or what it does?? I got this pc yesterday and it is pretty expensive so i pray tp god this is no virus.

  2. My pc takes for ever to shut down when i restart

Suggest cleaning up your startup list .There may be many services / Apps you can remove on startup which is not needed on boot or during shutdown.
Before you shutdown the Pc check what is running in Task Manager as a program or service in not killing the process on shutdown

Would suggest cleaning up running apps and services -Autoruns, StartupMonitor,HighjackThis,
    Malware Scan - Malwarebytes,ADWcleaner, Combofix

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand your concern, as the Services and Controller app process is taking high CPU usage. We looked in to this and would suggest you to the PC in clean boot status and then check the CPU usage for Services and Controller app process. If the

To perform a clean boot on the computer refer to the article

Services and Controller app Random High CPU usage.

When i look on task manager, I will sometimes see Services and Controller app using around 30-40% CPU sometimes when i am playing games, this happens and total cpu usage goes to 100%, and it seems to make my voice call sound weird.

For some context, this always happens on start-up and then at random times. I use a laptop.

Is there anyway to fix this? and if not fixable what is the Services and Controller app process doing?
