    I have the same issue. So i'll close my topic and stay with you. *Smile)
    What troubles me more is that i reinstalled Windows 7 (clean install) and still have the same problem. Before updating to Win 10 i didn't has such troubles, and no troubles also under Win 10 for about one month. So... I suspect is because of the SSD (maybe is broken?) but then i noticed you said you tried 2 different SSD...
    My SSD is also Samsung (840 EVO). I updated the firmware, but no difference.

    My next move will be to replace the SSD with a HDD.

    Solved. Thank you dalchina for your help.
    No spikes since I got RST and turned off Power Link from that program.

    Spiep, you can use Intel rapid storage even if you don't have a intel ssd. I think you need a intel chipset on your motherboard but I am uncertain. Also I never did have to try my second SSD.
    Something that I have not listen here that I think you should try is go over every driver in device manager and try to update them using windows auto update. It didn't help me but it was the solution to a similar issue. GL
