  1. Random Unwanted Volume Changes

Hello.I am having random volume changes increasing to 100 on my PC. I am running Windows 11 Home and this is not the first time this has happened on this PC. When I previously had this problem, I was given some advice from an advisor that seemed to have helped but the problem has returned. I tried the previous recommendations again but they have not worked so far. I saved a screen capture and have a link to it: https://imgur.com/a/4hFXdCPI hope this helps identify this problem and find a solution. Thanks!

    :)

  3. Windows 10 volume is always defaulted to 36 and I can't change it

    Hi Ajinc,

It could be some outdated sound drivers or some audio enhancements that caused the issue you are experiencing with controlling your system volume. To narrow down such concern, we'd like to ask a few questions:

    • Which version and build of Windows 10 is currently installed on your computer? To check, click on the
      Start > Settings > System >
      About
      .
    • What are the troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far?
    • Were there any changes made on your computer settings prior to this issue?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you perform the steps listed here. Those are troubleshooting steps suitable for sound problems.

Update us if the steps above helped you in resolving your concern.

Random change in volume on Asus laptop running windows 10

    Hi,

I realize that you are facing random change in volume issue on your PC. I will try to help you with this issue.

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

    • Did you make any changes to the PC prior to this issue?

    • Does this issue occur in a different user account?

Suggest you to boot the PC in Safe Mode to check if the issue persists.

Safe mode starts Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. It can help you troubleshoot problems on your PC. For example, if the problem doesn't happen in safe mode, you'll know default settings and basic device drivers
    aren't causing the issue.

Start your PC in safe mode in Windows 10: Windows Startup Settings - Microsoft Support

If the issue persists then you may boot the computer in a clean boot state and the status. A clean boot will helps us determine if any 3rd party service or application is causing this issue.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows:
How to perform a clean boot in Windows - Microsoft Support

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow the steps under “How to reset the computer to start as usual after troubleshooting with clean boot” in the article to boot to normal startup.

Keep us informed to help you further.

    Thank you.
